The Angle-Mount Safeway Baby/Pet Gate Model G22 is an extension of the KidCo Safeway series rated number one for the top of the stairs by a leading independent consumer organization. The G22 has Angle-Mount hardware that allows the metal gate to be installed in any position, including angled banisters and walls. The hardware allows the gate to swing both ways and has a stopping feature to prevent the gate from swinging over the stairs. The hardware also allows the safety gate to be quickly released from its mountings as desired. It stands 31" high and is constructed of strong tubular steel. Perfect for the top of stairs, as a window barrier, or at a doorway. Mount directly to walls and banisters or add a gate mounting kit if you have hollw walls, baseboards, or don't want to screw into your banisters or woodwork. One-hand adult operation of child-proof latch. Basic gate fits openings 28" - 42.5". Optional extensions available for larger openings. Available in White or Black.
Note: Wood screws are provided with all wall-mounted gates for presumed installation into wood framework. Special surfaces such as brick, concrete, drywall or plaster will require different fasteners to achieve a secure installation.
